The results of the written examination and the schedule of practical and oral examinations for the recruitment of manpower to 19 (nineteen) vacancies in 10 (ten) categories in grades 14 to 20 of the Divisional Commissioner's Office, Barisal have been published.

Brief description of antiquities

Mahilara Math: Mahilara Math is located in Mahilara village under Gournadi upazila of Barisal district. The monastery is said to have been built during the reign of Nawab Alivardi Khan (1740-1857) by a local influential person named Sarkar Roop Ram Das Gupta. It is also known as Sarkar Math. The monastery is undoubtedly a masterpiece of Shikhar temple art. This high monastery is similar to the Lisa Tower in Italy. It seems to have a slight tilt due to the construction style.
